The XRS has been replaced by the XR2 which offers the improved features:
XR2 Mechanical Seal The SEPCO® XR2 is easily assembled with only two halves. O-rings and gaskets are factory installed and do not require user attention. This assures factory tested leak free secondary sealing components. The XR2 has a balanced design which allows for pressures up to 200 psi (17 bar). This design feature greatly increases the range for applications of a split seal.
